Rev. Kris Mitzman

Rev. Kris Mitzman has been pastor of Messiah Lutheran Church in Billings since her ordination in 2012.  She served as interim there in 2011 and also as interim at Our Savior’s in Laurel and in Westby.  Laurel’s Our Savior’s and St. John’s Lutheran Ministries were her internship sites when she attended seminary in Chicago at Lutheran School of Theology following a 25-year teaching career in Billings and Crow Agency.  For fun, she spent many years participating in and directing choirs, including church choirs, the Billings Symphony (where she met her husband Skip,) the Rimrock Opera Company, and small performance groups.  Her current hobbies include quilting and collecting for her antique spaces in several Billings antique malls. She is also a charter member and board secretary for the West End Exchange Club of Billings.
